Windsurfing instruction

Starting off is easy in small groups and with special training-equipment; even children can easily learn to windsurf with us. 

Waterstarts, smooth jibes and cool freestyle manoeuvres will no longer be a secret to you – we will take care of it!

Do you finally want to learn how to surf through the shore break?
We will overcome this obstacle with you! Our windsurfing instructors are approved by the VDWS (Association of German Watersports Schools). Your benefit : you will be taught by a team of professional instructors. The windsurfing certificates we issue are internationally valid.

All courses are taught according to wind and weather conditions.
Windsurfing instruction takes place exclusively at the René Egli Center II.

K-course*

Children course (8 -12 years) – our beginner class especially aiming at children. An appropriate environment for children to learn in, and special boards and sails ensure an easy introduction. 

The innovative IDO system makes the initial steps child’s play!

A-course*

Beginners course – the first steps into a new sport in theory and practice:

  • Tacking

A1-course*

Refresher course – for advancing and refreshing in theory and practice:

  • Fast Tack
  • Jibe
  • Beach start
  • Harness

F-courses

Individual courses are available for individual time management – coordinated educational objectives:

  • F1-course: Waterstart 
  • F2-course: planing position, footstraps
  • F3-course: Surfing through shore break, speed, power jibe

F2 + F3-course can be combined in a 4-hour package

Private lessons

Individual training from waterstart and power jibe to jumping, wave riding and freestyle-moves.

Hourly rental

Special offer for participants of the K-, A- and A1-courses

In order to increase your knowledge of what you have learnt, you can rent the training material by the hour. Besides that, you can also choose between the JP Boards “Funster” as well as the Starboards “Start” and “Go”. The rental includes a wetsuit, harness and equipment insurance.
