The René Egli Kiteboarding Academy uses years of camp-experience to provide a new level of Learn-events at Playa Sotavento!

Together with our excellent hotel partner Meliã Gorriones ****+ we offer an intensive entry for all who wish to start kiteboarding in a compact training week.

Individual training in small groups with the latest equipment!

At our center we make a huge selection of 2011 material of our partner Cabrinha for you available! In the beginnin classes will be held with our special training kites on the miles long sandy beach or in the lagoon, before going into the water with radio-connection and safe jet-ski assistance. 

Experienced VDWS / IKO instructor team

Our kite-teachers are approved by VDWS (Association of German Water schools) and IKO (International Kiteboarding Organisation), so you will be taught by a professional team of instructors! All kite licences issued by us are internationally valid. 

Miles of sandy beach!

Directly located at the miles-long sandy beach, our Kite Center offers ideal conditions for a relaxed kite holiday. The legendary wind safety and pleasant year-round water and air temperatures promise lots of fun on the water. Furthermore the wide beach provides plenty of space for launching and landing of the kite. Of course, the center offers compressed air, fresh water showers, reserved sun beds, a beach bar and a free Wi-Fi hotspot. 

Accommodation in 4 ****+ Hotel Meliã Gorriones

In a relaxed atmosphere, the four-star Hotel Meliã Gorriones invites you with its unique garden and pool area as well as its world-class spa area to relax. Two excellent restaurants meet even the highest culinary expectations. In the evenings, you can chill out at the in-house bar.

Moreover the Mini Club for kids from 5-12 years, a climbing wall, a trampoline and a star observatory assure entertainment also for the youngest. 

The hotel is located just 200 meters from the Kite Center which can be reached within walking distance over the beach.  

 

The number of participants is limited to min. 6 / max. 10 persons.
